Both IPOs from Power Sector Adani and NHPC closed below their issue price. This kind of response from the IPOs will affect the other IPOs in future. Adani Power share closed at Rs.98.65 below issue price Rs100/- and NHPC at Rs.35.25 below than issue price Rs.36/-. Market players pointed out that HNIs who had applied with borrowed money actually lost in the issue. The below IPOs price closing for the two stocks came just before the launch of Oil India IPO.
