The Union Budget by Pranab Mukharjee for the fy 2009-10 has upset the market but the common man may be happy about it as:-
- The Income tax return filling is to be made simpler and easier
- Rs.100 per day wage under NREGA (REal wages)
- Allocation of Rs 39,100 crore for NREGA for 2009-10
- Personal tax exemption limits raised by Rs 10,000
- GST implimentation by 2010
- Customs duty on paper & boards unchanged ,on bio-fuel diesel cut to 2.5% vs 7.5%
