Severe Drought Grips Half of India

The Union Cabinet will meet on Thursday to consider a proposal to increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Paddy to Rs1000 per quintal from existing Rate of Rs 850/-. Half of the country is facing drought like situation and paddy is severly hit that is reason govt has taken this decision. Govt is also planning to increase the support price for Arhur and Tur and these move motivate the farmers to invest more in the crops and does not lose interest.
