Mahindra Satyam on Wednesday said its board has approved settlement of lawsuits brought by its former client Unpaid Systems by paying $70 million (Rs327 crore) The company would make the first payment of $45 million (Rs2101 crore) to unpaid, which has filed a forgery case against Satyam with in 10 days of getting approval.

Mahindra Satyam informed the stock exchange regarding this. The remaining amount would be paid within 12 months of the first payment.
