RIL Net Down 6.4%

Mukesh Ambani controlled Reliance Industries on Thursday reported a 6.4% fall in net profit at Rs. 3852 crore for the second quarter ended September compared to the year ago period on lower exports and a fall in petrochemical industry profit margins.

RIL Diversified the country/s highest valued in market capitilisation said its total revenue rose 5.9% to Rs 47476 crore during the quarter from Rs. 44839 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. The company has interests in a vast range that includes textiles, petrochemicals, oil refining and exploration.
