Gujarat NRE Coke hits its bottomline for the first quarter ended June 2009 with net profit Rs.3.64 Crore against Rs94.40 yoy. Net sales during the quarter was Rs310 Crore against 377.60 crore . Adverse conditions in Steel Industries affected the business. According to Chairman and Managing Director Arun Kumar Jagatramka says that demand for coke has been buoyant in India in the first half of 2009.
