NTPC seeks Govt intervention RIL Case

State owned NTPC Ltd has again written to the Ministry of Power seeking protection of its interest in ongoing case in the Supreme Court between RIL and RNRL. NTPC has expressed its concern on the adverse comments made by RIL’s counsel Jeopardsing the term and prices of gas under RIL-NTPC contract.

In a letter to the power ministry NTPC said it is worried with the submission of RIL in the Supreme Court that as per the approval development plan for KG-D6 gas would be available for only II year and RIL may not supply of gas for a period of 17 years under RIL-NTPC case.
