Federation of Indian Airlines Called off August 18 Strike by keeping the Public Interest in mind. Government has now decided to discuss the matter with Private Airlines. Aviation Minister Praful Patel has said that Government is not in position to help these Airlines financially. He also assured that the Direcotorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) would take appropriate action to protect passenger interest.
