State run BSNL has placed a purchase order for mobile equipment for 20 million GSM lines with Chinese Firm Huawei and will not call for any fresh bids. Already BSNL is using Huawei Sets. According to reliable sources the company had given order to Huwaei for the 2G lines in South Zone and the immediate order will be for 8 million this has been stated by Kuldeep Goyal CMD, BSNL on Thursday. The company has also launched a persecond billing plan he said.
