Axis Bank post 32% growth in Q2

Net Profit of Axis Bank for the September quarter of 2009 rose close to 32% at Rs 531 crore compared with Rs 402.91 crore in the same quarter last year. The bank also saw 33 percent year on year growth in savings bank deposits.

Total income rose to Rs 3925.94 crore in the present quarter from Rs 3239.45 crore during the same period last year.
